This site was commissioned by the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, a subsidiary of the New York Public Library. The museum desired a website that presented African American Historical figures in an interesting and interactive way. I was contracted by III Eye Digital to carry out the project from concept to completion.

Project Description

C-Town and Bravo Supermarkets hired agencyQ to redesign their website to reflect a more updated design and a better user experience. I worked as the lead designer on a team of Information Architects, Web Developers and Testers. I designed the look and feel for the site under the supervision of a Creative Director, and single-handedly created all of the subpage designs and production artwork (including icons, header images, buttons etc.) After development was complete, I joined the Testers to assist with Quality Assurance Testing of the site before launch.

ProSounity Music Site Redesign

Project Description

I was contracted by ProSounity Music to redesign their artist, Kim Jordan's, website to provide more interactivity and a cleaner design. Because the client had high quality music files to be sampled and incorporated into the site, I edited and then compressed the audio for web in addition to designing and building this Flash site.

New York Public Library: Interactive Map Design

Project Description

I was contracted through III Eye Digital to redesign the interactive map and page layout for the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, a subsidiary of the New York Public Library. The website in which this map lives had already been designed and developed; however the client was unhappy with the current build of this map page. I designed and developed the interactive map in Flash and redesigned the page layout to be consistent with the established site design. The complexity of the build required that I manipulate HTML, CSS, PHP and mySQL to integrate the new page into the site.
