What People are Saying
Working with you this year was a great experience and we very much appreciated your expertise, thoughtfulness, and grace. You never pushed or pressured us unnecessarily and although there were anxiety-producing moments along the way, you handled them with a leveled head which made all of the difference.
Thanks for your hard work when selling 258 Hermann Street. Most of my recounts of the events leading up to the sale are those of a perfect symphony. Your drives were balanced by mine and that constant combination yielded the perfect projection of what we could achieve. You really exceeded my expectations with getting the CurbedSF article published! It’s difficult to say what exactly pushed things over the top, but it all just worked really well. Thank you for all your attention to detail and follow through. I head to Bali in the first half of September, so let’s touch base after that on next steps! Happy 4th of July! Enjoy your Independence Day with all those you love, as I am.
I felt I could talk openly with Carol about what I wanted, whether it was realistic or not. And, anytime I lost enthusiasm, Carol was there to give me hope and motivation. Carol, I'll never thank you enough for your work. Your devotion to us as a family in finding us a home.
Before we started working with Carol, we were long suffering home-seekers. We'd keep getting our hopes up and putting in offers only to be disappointed and disheartened. Carol changed all of that by doing something that felt both simple and groundbreaking: she listened. She asked insightful questions that helped us figure out what we really wanted and helped us understand the real parameters of our budget. Then, she went to work!
My husband and I are so happy that we worked with Carol Koffel to buy our home. Carol showed us a range of possibilities in our budget. She has a broad knowledge of how houses are built and on our tours of homes she was able to point out important issues on each house, regarding piping, roofing, foundations, and more. Once we decided to put in an offer, Carol worked around the clock to make sure we got the house. As first time buyers she ensured we understood every step of the process. All communication was quick, clear and direct; we felt confident that we were in good hands. Before we started working with Carol, we didn’t think buying a home in the Bay Area would be possible, but thanks to her, we are proud homeowners in San Francisco!” Thank you again for helping us find our home!
We met Carol at a showing, she was extremely friendly and patient the moment we met. Being in a tough market like San Francisco it took multiple offers to finally get our place. Throughout this process she tried to educate us on how to access the location of place (liquefaction zone vs. not), how to estimate cost of repairs if needed and imagine what we could do with a space in the house. She gave us room when we were overwhelmed whilestill keeping an eye out on the market on our behalf. She found us the lovely place we call home now as part of an off-market sale. It’s a two unit house (we rent out one of the units) which we would have never imagined owning but made a lot of financial sense in retrospect. When we hit a glitch in our loan process and were at risk of losing the deposit on the house, she found us a new lender who gave us a better rate and term than what we previously had and helped close the loan process in a record time end to end (approximately 3 weeks). I would highly recommend Carol as a realtor. Thank you again Carol.
